Why is this woman’s head coming out of a stone, you ask? Good question! The work is called “Thought” and it is thought, if you will, that Rodin was personifying a single instance of thinking, or an individual thought, by using the lovely model of his student and lover Camille Claudel. When I was visiting my parents today I discovered the boxes again. Look how much weird stuff I found inside!
